History Scholarship
- Junior or senior for the entire academic year
- History major
- Show outstanding academic ability
- Demonstrate financial need-Must have completed the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by the Financial Aid Office's priority deadline of March 15th
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Complete a research project on a topic related to rural history
- Complete the General Scholarship Application through your Wildcat Connection account.
- Submit the following additional materials:
- List of history courses taken and grades for each course
- List of your honors and awards
- A letter to the History Department Chair that includes a statement of why you are studying history and how you meet the selection criteria, including an indication of your financial need
- Official transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended besides CWU
- List of three (3) references in the History Department at CWU who are familiar with your work
Attach your additional materials electronically to your online scholarship application or submit to the Scholarship Office by March 1st
