Mapes Law Offices Scholarship

We are pleased to announce the Mapes Law Offices Scholarship. The key to success in life is that you never stop learning. No matter where you are, who you are, or what you do it is by developing a thirst for knowledge that you will be successful. While some of the best knowledge you will ever obtain is not dispensed inside of a classroom, some of it is, and I want to help you get that knowledge without getting in debt.

I know what it is like to grow up in a financially strapped household. I know that the stress and anxiety of the parent is also felt by the children. I also know that it is by developing a thirst for knowledge and refusing to give up on your dreams that you will be successful. What I want to know now is your story.

This scholarship is meant to help those students who have experienced first-hand the pressure of debt. Maybe your parents lost a job, maybe they filed bankruptcy, maybe you had to move when your home was foreclosed upon – whatever your experience was I want you to tell me about it. I want to know how it shaped you, and how it has affected your plans for college.

Having debt is a struggle, but it is by embracing that struggle and dealing with it head on that you will grow.
