Larry L. Pinnt Scholarship

Description:

General Scholarship

Requirements:

Incoming freshman/transfer students admitted to CWU by March 1st for the upcoming Fall Term
Parent, grandparent, step-parent or step-grandparent must be alumnus of CWU, Central Washington State College, or Central Washington College of Education
Demonstrated improvement in studies and/or overcoming challenges to excel academically
Demonstrated leadership potential
Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
Must be ineligible to receive a Pell Grant and Washington State Need Grant

Application Process:

Complete the General Scholarship Application through your Wildcat Connection account.
Submit the following additional materials:

Two letters of recommendation from former faculty/teachers addressing the following:

A challenge faced by the student
How the student overcame the challenge
A description of the student's academic improvement
The student's potential as a leader

Additional materials must be postmarked or submitted to the Scholarship Office on or before March 1st

Supplemental Materials Required:
