Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is a contract between the school district and our Running Start office that describes the program and allows students to participate. Starting fall 2016, MOU’s will be one year contracts. MOU’s are sent out early spring for the upcoming school year. Signed MOU’s must be returned before registrations will be accepted. This contract covers both the Cornerstone and College in the High School programs.

Monthly Reports
Monthly reports are sent to designated personnel in both your school district and high school and provide very important information for your program. Each month, we send out a list of Cornerstone enrollments and separate report for a College in the High School enrollments. Your class lists and ours should be the same. If you have had enrollment changes, you must contact us immediately. The reports are sent from the 1st to the 8th of each month.

Invoices for Cornerstone and College in the High School classes are generated from September-December, January-March, and April-June; therefore, schools will receive three invoices during the school year. Cornerstone classes will only be on the invoice if the school chooses to collect the money, as specified on the MOU.

If your Accuplacer tests are taken through CWU you will receive an email with a spreadsheet from the Running Start office asking for free/reduced lunch information. The spreadsheet is sent the month after testing is completed.  After the free/reduced lunch charges are removed, then the invoice is sent to the school.
