Karen Blair, Chair, ADCO:
Dr. Blair reported that ADCO met Monday. The Provost attended the meeting and offered to meet with the group once a month to discuss issues. His offer was well received. Department chairs are currently reviewing catalog copy. The proofreading deadline is this Friday, April 6.
Rebecca Bowers, Dean, College of Arts & Humanities:
Dr. Bowers commended the latest publication of Central Connections. The story featuring CWU's Department of Aviation was great. The College of Business spring quarter Business-to-Business breakfast is April 26. If you are interested in attending, please see the on line registration on the COB web page. Terry Martin's book of poems, "The Secret Language of Women," is on the national book of poetry registry for the sixth consecutive week. The first CWU art alumni exhibition, titled "CWU Alumni Exhibition: Crossroads and Connections" opens this Friday. John Lundeen and Makayla Lee were named among the national finalists in the National Broadcasting Society's 44th Annual Student Audio and Video Production Company. We are four weeks away from the NCATE visit and everything looks good.
Judy Miller, Board Secretary:
Ms. Miller reported that agenda items for the May 4 Board of Trustees meeting are due to her by April 19. Ms. Miller also brought up the issue of SPAM email. She indicated that the amount of SPAM email has significantly increased. Mr. Corona reported that ITS is working on tightening the filtering system.

David Heath, Chair, Employee Council:
Mr. Heath reported that he is filling in as Interim Chair of Employee Council until August 2007. The employee of the year process is underway. The committee is currently soliciting input from campus.
Katie Underwood, ASCWU BOD Vice President for Academic Affairs:
Ms. Underwood reported for Jadon Berry. Jadon Berry, Jeff Rosenberry, and Tony Aronica are attending the NASPA conference this week. Filing for the ASCWU BOD elections closes at 4:00 p.m. today. The primaries will be held April 19 and general elections will be May 3. The group is also working on nominations for the student trustee position.
Jeffrey Dippmann, Chair, Faculty Senate:
Dr. Dippmann reported that several curriculum changes, as well as, a wait list policy were approved at the last Senate meeting. Bobbie Cummings has accepted the nomination for this year's CASE Professor of the Year Awards. Matt Manweller is chair elect for next year. Cathy Bertleson will chair the general education review committee. The ad hoc committee on scheduling has been finalized and will begin to meet soon.

Nancy Howard, Director, Office for Equal Opportunity:
Ms. Howard distributed the new OEO & Diversity Education Center folder. These folders will be used in recruitment of employees and to promote diversity initiatives and activities occurring on campus. The provost and the vice president for business and financial affairs contributed to the printing costs of these folders.
Sherer Holter, AVP for Human Resources:
Ms. Holter reported that the HR/SAEM upgrade is moving along well. They are still on track to go live in October 2007. Michael Horne will announce the training curriculum soon.
