CWUP 8-40-010 Waiver of Mandatory Student Fees

Mandatory student fees are fees initiated by students for programmatic purposes. Students may request waiver of some of the fees under specific circumstances. A request for a waiver does not constitute an approval of that request; decisions regarding waivers are made on a case-by-case basis by a committee constituted through student success.

The following mandatory student fees may not be waived: Student technology fee; central transit fee; athletic fee; services and activities fee, math and writing tutoring fee, and student lobby fee.

See CWU procedure, CWUR 4-20-010, for information to request waiver of the student health and counseling fee, student union fee, student wellness fee, or student recreation center fee.
