University Recreation hosts many private and public group events in our facilities throughout the year. The Recreation Center, Aquatic Facility, Climbing Wall, Challenge Course, and field space on campus can be reserved by approved student groups, on-campus departments, and for some outside events.  Facility rates, availability, and policies can be found at the Scheduling Center’s website: http://www.cwu.edu/student-union/scheduling-services

Tournament Information & Programming Services (TIPS)

TIPS are offered by University Recreation to help groups plan recreational activities. Assistance is available for scheduling tournaments, obtaining officials and/or sport supervisors, emergency medical technicians, renting equipment, and preparing field or court areas (painting fields, setting up goals, etc.). Fees are associated with these services and will be quoted to the group after the request is received.

Requests for these services should be made a minimum of two weeks prior to an event and/or at the time the facility reservation is submitted. TIPS are provided through the Intramural Sports and Special Events programs.  Requests for TIPS can be made to recreation@cwu.edu.
