Camp C-Woo is a recreational and educational program offered by Central Washington University's Recreation Program. The activity based summer camp aids in the sport and educational development of children ages 6-11. Our primary function is to offer a safe environment where kids can have fun, make new friends, create unforgettable memories, and spend their summer with positive role models.
Some activities the campers will participate in include:
Playing games in the Recreation Center, including the Climbing wall
Daily physical activities to improve balance, strength, endurance, speed, agility, and flexibility
Arts & Crafts
Learning about character education and improving positive social skills
Improve swimming skills
Field Trips (ex. Moses Lake Aquatic Center, bike at Lake Easton, float the Yakima River with trained guides)
Learn about nutrition and prepared snacks
The camp operates from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Drop off times are between 7:30am to 8:30am and pick up times are from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. We do ask that the kids be present between the times of 8:30am-4:30pm. Kids are to bring their own lunches and snacks.
