What do you get when you introduce two ultra-runners to an ice axe and a road bike? In the great Pacific Northwest, you get the Rainier Triple Threat. Come and hear about Bock Gavery and Sam Thompson’s incredible journey as they biked 120 miles from Seattle to the base of Mt. Rainier, climbed to the summit of Mt. Rainier and descended to run the 93-mile Wonderland Trail around the mountain in just 80 hours. This last season, they took on the Glacier Peak Triple Threat, a 120-mile bike ride followed by a 10,500-foot summit of Glacier Peak followed by a 95-mile run.
