The CWU Wrestling Club is hosting the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) Northwest Regional on Sunday, March 3. Matches begin at 10 a.m. at the CWU Recreation Center, Court D. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Central Wrestling Club is hosting the qualifier because it won the tournament last year. Champions in all weight classes will qualify for the NCWA Nationals in Allen, Texas March 13 to 17, where the Wildcats will look to improve on last year’s seventh place finish.
To advance, CWU must prevail over competition from seven other regional universities including Western Washington University, Washington State University and Idaho State University.
