Recreation Facility Hours
Recreation facilities will begin opening on January 14th. Visit our modifications page for current restrictions.
Water fountains are turned off per state guidelines, however bottle filling stations are still available. Please bring a refillable water bottle with you or purchase from the Membership Desk.

Air quality is monitored at AirNow.gov and outdoor facilities and programs will close at 151 or higher.

The Recreation Center offers two floors of amazing health and fitness options. The 80,000 sq. ft. exercise mecca has a 50-foot climbing wall with two arches for bouldering, a strength training area, fitness and cardio equipment areas, an elevated 1/8-mile jogging track, a four-court gymnasium, two group exercise rooms, locker rooms with saunas and the Outdoor Pursuits and Rental shop.
Recreation Sports Complex
The Recreation Sport Complex opening is January 14th, 2021. Please check back frequently for updated hours.

The Recreation Sports Complex opened in November 2018 and incluces a fully lit turf infield and NCAA competition track. Other highlights include: grandstands with 600 spectator seats, throws venue (hammer, shot put, javelin, and discus), stadium style scoreboard, restrooms, food truck capabilities and perimeter fencing.
Recreation Swim is anticipated to resume in January 2021. Hours to be announced; please check back frequently for updated hours.

Recreation Center members have access to use the CWU Aquatic Center during Open Recreation and Lap Swim sessions. As a member of the Recreation Center, you may participate in these sessions for free (you may also bring your children age 13 and under for $3 per visit), while non-members will pay a daily use fee. The daily use pass must be purchased at the CWU Recreation Center prior to use of the pool. No forms of payments will be accepted at the pool. Please provide reciept as proof of purchase when using the pool.

Lockers are available for use in the men’s and women’s locker rooms. For day use, bring your own lock.
There isn't a towel service available, you should bring your own towel .
