Please note: University Recreation defines Alumni as an individual that graduated with a degree from CWU and maintains an Alumni Association Membership. 

Alumni Association membership: All alumni privileges granted by University Recreation are through an Alumni Association membership. It is the responsibility of the alumni to ensure their membership status with the Alumni Association. Memberships can be purchased at the Recreation Center Access Desk, Outdoor Pursuits and Rentals Shop, or online.

Cost:

• $35 Single or $50 Joint annually
• $600 Single or $800 Joint lifetime

Recreation Center Membership: As a CWU Alum, you along with your spouse or partner, can purchase a membership to use the Recreation Center and CWU Aquatic Facility. With your membership, you have access to the Recreation Center’s weight room, courts, cardio area, indoor track, pool, climbing wall, and group exercise classes. To purchase a Recreation membership, visit or call the Recreation Center Access Desk at 509.963.3512.

$30 of each alumni association membership sold will support student scholarships

Policies:

• Alumni without a valid CWU Connection Card will not be allowed access to the facilities or permitted to participate in programs.
• Alumni forgetting their CWU Connection Card should walk back to their cars to get the ID and then present it to the Campus Recreation Staff.

Parking: Please note that Alumni are not eligible to purchase a CWU parking permit and cannot use the I15 Parking lot between 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. Timed parking spaces may be used without a permit

Outdoor Pursuits and Rentals: The Outdoor Pursuits and Rentals program offers regularly scheduled guided excursions as well as providing rental equipment and special programs.  Alumni Association members are eligible to register for regularly scheduled trips and programs. Alumni Association members may access all rental equipment for the non-student rate.

Special Events: University Recreation hosts an array of special events including 5K fun runs, mud runs, sport tournaments, and fitness events.  Alumni association members are eligible to participate unless otherwise posted.

Alumni and Alumni Spouses are not eligible for Sport Club Competitions or Intramural Sports.
