Surviving Death Row: Exonerees Tell Their Story

Death penalty exonerees Sabrina Butler-Smith and Randal Padgett will share their personal experiences of life on death row in the SURC Theatre at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 3. The exonerees, moderated by Witness to Innocence Director of Communication Stefanie Anderson, will fuel a discussion around the ethics and morality of the death penalty. This event is organized through CWU’s Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, as part of a greater effort to instill greater philosophic dialogue on campus.

This event is free to the public and will be co-hosted by the Washington State Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty.
