Student Evaluations of Instruction, commonly known as SEOIs, are due March 11. It is students’ last chance to provide comments and feedback about the courses they have taken this quarter. SEOIs are available via e-mails to students from Institutional Assessment or via BlackBoard.
SEOIs are beneficial for professors because the feedback can help them plan future courses and make them more efficient and applicable for students. For students, SEOIs are a means of expressing their opinions in an anonymous fashion and commenting on everything from classroom management to teaching effectiveness. These assessments are very important for future classes, so every student is highly encouraged to submit their SEOIs.
