Student groups will have the opportunity to express their feelings and opinions during debates at Speak Out Central Thursday, May 9 from 11:30 to 1:30 in the SURC Pit. This event is free and open to the public.
The First Amendment Festival is looking for participants who all willing to debate on hot topics. Student clubs will have the opportunity to “host” 30-minute segments on issues they’re passionate about. All clubs need to provide is two or three students who are willing to start the debate; a “Master of Ceremonies” will be available to solicit input from the audience.
