The CWU Wellness Center will display their exhibit PhotoVoice Thursday, Jan. 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Wellington Event Center, located in Barto Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.
This one-day exhibit is an opportunity for students to display their relationship with alcohol through photographs. Each submission is an attempt at answering the question, “what does alcohol mean to you?” These photos are meant to show the students’ perspective on what drinking at Central is really like.
In addition to the photos, several statistics on college drinking that the Wellness Center has compiled will be on display. Fortunately, both photos and statistics show most CWU students have a healthy relationship with alcohol.
New this year, PhotoVoice attendees will be able to share their opinions on the various photos. A computer will be available to type comments, which will then be displayed at the exhibit on a projector in real time.
