The CWU English Department is on the lookout for talented student writers, poets, photographers and artists to fill the pages of Manastash—a student-produced literary journal. Submissions will be accepted Friday, Nov. 9 through Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013.
Central students are encouraged to submit any type of literary work and/or art. Past submissions include photography, poems, short stories and creative non-fiction writing. So whether it is an intriguing short story, a beautiful photo or a well-researched non-fiction piece, send it in.
After the submission period closes, the entries will be read and selected by students taking the Manastash practicum course. These students will then organize and design the 23rd edition of Manastash.
The first issue of Manastash was printed in 1990, and it has become a gallery for student art and literature ever since. Past issues can be found in the CWU Brooks Library.
