Dia de los Muertos

Friday, Nov 3, 2017
5:00 pm

It’s that time of the year for Dia de los Muerto or Day of the Dead. Everyone is invited to join in on celebrating the Latino tradition of honoring the dead.

On Nov. 3, come to the festival that will spark some action into your night. From watching the Aztec dances, to listening to Mariachi music, to arts and crafts, face painting, and so much more!

The event starts from 5 p.m., but will begin the event over at Barge’s courtyard. The festival will travel through campus, and then wind up in the SURC Ballroom for the rest of the fun.

There will be food-vendors that are Cash Only. The food is worth the money though, so don’t put your wallet away just yet.

For the event, we are honoring the dead, if you have any loved ones who have passed away, then bring a picture of them for all of us to honor them.
