The CWU Center for Diversity and Social Justice (CDSJ) continues their Queer Film Series with a free screening of the documentary “Paragraph 175” Tuesday, March 11 at 5 p.m. in the Student Union and Recreation (SURC) Pit.
The film chronicles the Nazi’s 1935 decision to revise Paragraph 175 of the German criminal code making homosexual acts between males a crime. Because of this code, around 140,000 men were convicted from 1827 to 1994. The film draws upon testimonies from a handful of survivors that witnessed the horror of the Nazi's purge of homosexuals.
Don’t miss the opportunity to hear these brave men tell their story of survival.
