20th Annual Giving Tree/Stocking Stuffer

Wednesday, Nov 1, 2017

Are you filled with early holiday spirit? Well, why not share you joy with others this year? Running through the whole month of November, the 20th annual Giving Tree/Stocking Stuffer program, brought to you by Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE), will help spread the joy for children in our community whose parents cannot afford to buy their children presents. Be a part those children’s joy and give a piece of your good fortune to them. Last year CLCE received 560 gifts, so this year, they want to reach 670 gifts. Help them exceed that goal.

There will be a tree in the SURC that have tags of gift requests. Grab a tag, buy the gift, and bring the gift to CLCE Office.

A friendly reminder that CLCE does not want people to wrap the gifts they are giving. Instead, one can have their gifts in a gift bag.

If you cannot help donate a specific gift, you can always buy a simple gift and give it to the Stocking Stuffer event. Anything helps when it comes to giving happiness to families. The table for the Stocking Stuffer gifts will be near 88.1 The ‘Burg’s door.

The presents will be given out during finals week because just like us, we all need a little joy during the end of the quarter.
