The Central Washington University Psychology Department sponsors a Psychology Club which is open to all students. The main focus of the Psychology Club is to connect students virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic through research, faculty networking, and psychology related activities.
We are currently engaging in a student-led research project that focuses on COVID-19 and the perceptions of compliance with COVID guidelines within your own ‘bubble’ (i.e., those who live in close proximity to you or must interact with due to work or being family on a daily basis). We believe that this opportunity will further students’ interest in research in psychology and help engage with current events.
ANYONE with an interest in psychology or research in general is more than welcome to join. You are not required to be a psychology major, minor, or have any prior experience with research. This is a great way to see if you will enjoy the research process outside of a course. PSY 200 students are welcome to attend or reach out to club officers for relevant class assignments.
