CWU Wenas Creek Mammoth Project

Thousands of years ago, a mammoth was buried in the hillside near the Wenas Creek in Selah, Washington. In 2005, its remains were discovered and a team from Central Washington University began the careful process of removing the bones from the hillside. Enjoy this short documentary highlighting the excavation by CWU students and faculty.
