PRIMATE AWARENESS NETWORK
The Primate Awareness Network is a student organization focused on educating the public about the impact humans have on non-human primates. The impact is both direct (bushmeat, logging, biomedical research, and exploitation through entertainment) and indirect (supporting particular logging companies, palm oil production, and entertainment companies). Funds raised through the efforts of club members will be used for support of conservation and/or sanctuary organizations, financing public awareness campaigns, and travel expenses for primatological and anthropological conventions. Membership is open to CWU students, faculty and staff as well as those from the broader Ellensburg community. New members are always welcome.
Please join us on Facebook to receive notifications about meetings.
