PAN Guest Speaker: Dr. Steve Ross

Dr Steve Ross is the Director of the Lester E Fisher Center for the Study and Conservation of Apes in Chicago, and has spent his career studying captive and wild animal behavior, currently focused on the great apes. He will give a lecture about using science to improve the welfare of captive apes and his work in Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo. Following the talk is a reception in the same building where the Primate Behavior department faculty at CWU will introduce our new certificate in Primate Captive Care. Refreshments will be provided.
