Purpose:
- Reviews and proposes a slate of university private funding priorities to the President and the President's Cabinet for ranking.
- Serves to approve the submission of all foundation and corporate proposals of $50,000 or greater to the President for ranking.
- Makes strategic determinations about funding opportunities to pursue.
- Proposes development-related policies (e.g. gift policy) to the President and the President's Cabinet and, when appropriate, to the Board of Trustees.
- Administers the institutional naming policy governing the naming to university buildings and landmarks and makes recommendations to the President and the President's Cabinet.
