Strategic Planning Synthesizing Committee
Survey
Fall 2005
Following the success of Central Washington University's 2001-2006 Strategic Plan, the university is renewing and updating that plan for the last half of this decade and beyond. President Jerilyn McIntyre is requesting your assistance in order to move the university forward through this process.
Our 2001-2006 strategic plan helped us to improve our programs and increase resources to support important initiatives. Some of the most important accomplishments achieved under that plan are available online at www.cwu.edu/president/stratplan/accomplishments.html.
As the first step in the renewal process, the Strategic Planning Synthesizing Committee is seeking advice from all interested parties through surveys, forums, and online discussions. Your help is extremely important as the university refines its strategic goals and identifies concrete ways to reach them, and we strongly encourage your participation.
Please respond to the following questions based on your knowledge and interests. Demographic questions are included to help us identify the views of different groups served by the university.
Please respond no later than January 9, after which the Synthesizing Committee will compile and integrate responses and use them as the basis for forums throughout the university and surrounding communities. A second round of integration and refinement will occur after the forum process is complete and will form the basis of the committee's recommendations to the president and her cabinet.
