Central Theatre Ensemble presents "Vietnam 101: The War on Campus," a thought-provoking docudrama that recounts the true stories of college students at Oberlin College, Ohio, from 1964 to 1970, in a time that "probed and tested and challenged" a nation. It began with well-behaved protests and a President´s promise not to expand the war, and escalated into a blood bath at Kent State that tested the patriotism of a generation. Using a combination of personal accounts, letters and interviews, award-winning playwright Rich Orloff brings to life the true stories of students on campus, including the radical, the cautious, the conservative, and the chronically undecided.

The Performing Arts and Presidential Speaker Series will offer theatre-goers the opportunity to meet playwright Rich Orloff at a panel discussion on Nov. 1 only immediately following the performance. Coming from his home in New York for this special performance, Orloff will be available to answer questions from audience members during the post-performance discussion.
