New CWU students, we're glad you're here and we're eager to help you adjust to your life at CWU. There are many resources available to you, so please don't hesitate to explore them. We have made it our priority to think ahead and listen to our students. By doing this, we've learned to anticipate your needs and wants, whether they be big-such as the best guidance on what major's right for you-or small-such as free movie nights in the SURC.
For the nontraditional students, we also have your needs in mind by providing counseling, daycare, and statewide campus centers that focus on the working student.

We understand going to college isn't just about classes and tests. Oftentimes overlooked stressors like getting along with your roommate or having a quiet place to study can have huge impacts on your life at college. We're here to help with all these things. Take advantage of them. They will make your transition to CWU smooth and your life here all the better.
