The second document: FY2009 Budget Driver, Fall Quarter summarizes projections based on fiscal year 2008 trends. Both documents are based on a 3-year rolling average. The group reviewed and discussed the documents at length. The goals for winter and spring enrollments were discussed as well. Dr. Pellett gave a report on "added on" classes for winter and spring 2009. He also shared a list of Web courses that will be offered winter 2009. The Office of Graduate Studies and Research has adopted a proactive, personalized approach to communicating with potential new students. Some of the devices used to identify potential students include: Gradview.com, Peterson´s, Graduate Record Exam (GRE) and Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) reports, Gradschools.com, and CNET. Academic Affairs is currently collecting data from the university centers. The goal is to develop a more systematic plan on what we need to offer at the centers. Dr. Hall reported that Enrollment Resources is the company that has been hired to conduct target marketing for us. The first meeting with that group is by phone today. The project will take six to eight weeks.

We are being required to put a plan together and it will have to be approved by our Board of Trustees by May 1, 2009.
