10:30 - Barge 412
Present: Jerilyn McIntyre, Dave Soltz, Rich Corona, Charlotte Tullos, Libby Street, Julie Cloninger
I. At 10:30 a.m.: Becky Watson regarding the President’s Report
The group discussed several strategies for gathering information for the President’s Report. One suggestion was to have a designee in each of the colleges/departments filter this information to Public Relations and Marketing. If you have additional ideas on how to handle this problem, please let Dr. McIntyre or Dr. Watson know. Dr. Watson added that if anyone has information on stellar publications, awards, or presentations that would be appropriate for the President’s Report, please contact her as soon as possible.
On another note, Dr. McIntyre stated that she would appreciate divisions/departments submitting information to the President’s Office in final form. Letters, invitations, etc. that are being written on her behalf should not have to be edited at this level. Mr. Corona suggested adding a writing course to CWU’s training opportunities. This idea will be researched.
