Executive Reports Provost/Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs: Dr. Soltz reported that implementation of the faculty collective bargaining agreement is going reasonably well. He added that he is in the process of putting together the Intellectual Properties and Merit committees. Dr. Soltz is attending an ICAO meeting tomorrow. Accountability measures should be finalized at this meeting. Vice President for Business and Financial Affairs: No report. Vice President for University Relations: Dr. Baker reminded the group that the John Moawad Jazz Scholarship Concert is Saturday, June 3 at Benaroya Hall in Seattle. Information regarding Douglas Honors College (DHC) scholarships was distributed for review and discussion. Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management: Dr. Tullos reported that Keith Champagne will chair the search committee for the AVP for Student Affairs position. Admissions numbers look good. A consultant will be on campus August 8-11, 2006 to review all programs in Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. Dr. Tullos met with Roger Fouts and Don Woodcock recently to discuss Title III issues. Executive Assistant for Policy and Planning: Dr. Street reported that Shelly Johnson is submitting the 2007-09 budget today. There will be a meeting later today to discuss art selection and museum curator issues. President: Dr. McIntyre reported that the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) is requesting that CWU respond to the Smart Grant program. The request will be forwarded to Dr. Tullos, Dr. Street, and Agnes Canedo so that a response can be prepared. Dr. McIntyre reminded the vice presidents to schedule their executive intern interviews.
