I. At 8:30 a.m.: Karla Shugart regarding Combined Fund Drive update
Ms. Shugart is CWU's point person for this year's employee Combined Fund Drive. She distributed several documents for review and discussion and gave an update on her plan for this year's drive. Communication is going to be key with this year's campaign. Posters will be displayed around campus and at the University Centers. Each division has a representative that employees can contact with questions. On-line contributions will be a major strategy this year, but a few hard copies of the forms and books will still be available. A Combined Fund Drive website will be constructed and will track our level of participation. Cabinet members agreed that setting a university goal was a good idea and instructed Mr. Shugart to move ahead with her plans for this year's drive. They also thanked her for taking on this project with such enthusiasm.
