An autopsy was completed yesterday of the Ellensburg resident, Hector Mejia Villa, who was found last Saturday, July 20, on the Central Washington University campus. According to university officials, he was not a student or employee of the university.
The cause of death was determined to be a stab wound to the heart and the manner of death has been ruled a homicide. Law enforcement investigation into this incident remains ongoing. Law enforcement officers are continuing the investigation today. No suspects have been identified.
