Biophysics Specialization

Biophysics is the application of the principles and tools of physics to the study of biological systems. Biophysicists are interdisciplinary scientists who study the physics of systems on multiple scales from molecular to organismal to population.

Career opportunities in biophysics include medical physics, biotechnology, research positions in the private and public sector, teaching, science writing, and many more. The goal of the Physics B.S. with Biophysics Specialization is to prepare students for the challenges of cross-disciplinary collaboration in 21st century science.
