The CWU Public Health & Pre-Nursing Club is a student-run group of people that are passionate about all the many unique aspects of preventative health and nursing care. We are located at the main Central Washington University campus in Ellensburg, Washington, and are affiliated with the national public health honorary, Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG), which strives to elevate the standards, ideals, competence and ethics of professionally prepared men and women in Health Education.". As a club, we focus on many topics including how to develop a strong knowledge base about how to become an ideal candidate for admission into grad/nursing schools, current issues within the public health and nursing arena, as well as opportunities to get involved with these issues locally and globally. We value the promotion of strong teamwork, leadership, and health promotion skills as a focus.
We meet every week in Purser Hall room 138, Tuesdays at 5:30pm. Come and join us there and add to the discussion, or call one of us if you are interested in learning more.
