Our teacher candidates engage in school-based and practical settings that develop real-world knowledge and skills at both the elementary and secondary levels.
Our teacher candidates learn various instructional strategies and models by participating in brain-based education, stress management, interdisciplinary learning, nutrition education, fitness education, cooperative learning, and adventure education.
Our teacher candidates learn to use the latest technological tools in the field, including heart rate monitors, accelerometers, tri-fit, movement analysis software, and web-based media.
Our teacher candidates attend and participate in state, regional, and national events and conferences.
