Permit Information

 

Faculty & Staff Permits

Staff parking permits allow you to park in both General parking lots and Staff parking lots or Staff designated slots. They can be purchased for the quarter, academic year, or calendar year. As a staff member you may request to pay through payroll deduction and have a choice of post- or pre-tax and auto-renewal for calendar/academic year permits. Payroll deduction may also be set up and a fixed amount will be deducted from each paycheck until paid in full.  

*Students employees and graduate assistants working part-time or full-time at the CWU are not eligible for staff permits.

Student Permits

Student parking permits allow you to park in General parking lots. They are not valid for Staff parking lots or designated Staff spaces. Student permits are available on a quarterly, academic year, or calendar year basis. All parking lots and parking stalls are clearly posted.

Motorcycle Permits

Motorcycle permits allow you to park your motorcycle or moped in spaces designated for motorcycles. If reserved motorcycle/moped parking spaces are not available, then an individual may park in a vehicle parking space. Motorcycle permits are available on a quarterly, academic year, or calendar year basis.

*FREE motorcycle permits are available for those who purchased an annual year or calendar year parking permit for their vehicle. To obtain the free permit you must submit a motorcycle permit application form and provide a copy of your registration at the Parking Office.

 

Summer Permits

Summer permits for students allow parking in all General lots, while Summer permits for staff allow parking in all General parking lots or Staff designated slots on campus during the summer quarter, which is from June through the first day of Fall quarter (June 20, 2017 through Sept. 20, 2017).

Daily permits -

Daily dispenser permits allow you to park in the General parking lots. They are not valid in the Staff parking lots. Daily permits can be purchased at one of our seven dispensers that are located in lots C-9, G-16, I-15, N-19, O-5, P-8 and Q-14. Daily scratch off tickets can be purchased at the Parking Office or Cashier Office.

Dispenser Permits are valid for 24 hours and state the time duration on them. The permit must be displayed with the information clearly visible in the front window or drivers side to be valid.

 

Scratch Off Permits are valid until midnight on the day of purchase. You may purchase multiple permits in advance. The permits need to be clearly displayed by hanging them from the review mirror or on the front dash.

Aquasize Permits

Aquasize permits allow you to park in the W-12 or Q-14 parking lots and are valid between the times 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  You are required to sign up for the program first before obtaining the permit. Aquasize permits can be purchased at the Parking Office or Cashiers Office after completing a Vehicle Registration Form.

 

Wellness Hour Permits

Wellness Hour permits allow you to park in the W-12 or Q-14 parking lots and are valid between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. You are required to sign up for the Wellness Hour program before obtaining the permit. Wellness Permits can be purchased at the Parking Office or Cashiers Office after completing a Vehicle Registration Form.
