Hosting a Party Tips:
- Prevent getting your party busted
- Prevent getting your stuff stolen
- Prevent injury or illness
- Violations and Laws
Your new place is feeling like home, and you're ready to invite people over! No matter how many you invite, there are some things you can do to make it more enjoyable for both you and your neighbors. First and foremost, you should talk to your neighbors ahead of time. Most likely they will be more tolerant if you don't surprise them with a loud, large party one night. A couple days in advance, let them know what you are planning, and give them your name and phone number in case they have any problems. If they do call with a concern, be ready to respond, courteously and promptly. Most likely you'll have a great party, but you should be prepared to address the "what-if's."
