ELLENSBURG, Wash. (September 20, 2013) — A multiple-vehicle, minor-injury accident this morning on eastbound Interstate 90, three-miles west of the Snoqualmie Pass summit, led to a six-mile backup and a more than an hour-long delay for some students returning for fall quarter classes at Central Washington University.
Because of this delay, CWU will remain open for late housing check-ins this afternoon and evening.
The university is also seeking more campus personnel to help with today’s Movers and Shakers event, which aids new students (and their parents) with moving into their residence halls. Additional volunteers, who are needed to assist with students arriving after 4:00 p.m., are asked to come to the east side of Barto Hall.
