Winter Choir Concert

The Four Central Washington University Choirs present their Winter Quarter 2017 Choral Concert.  Over 200 singers which comprise the University Chorale, Wildcat Choir, Treble Choir & Chamber Choir will present 90 minutes of music.
CWU’s Choir Concerts are known for including a wide variety of repertoire – something for everyone!  This concert is no exception: Here is a sampling of the choral tapestry:
The 100 voice University Chorale will open the concert.
The CWU Wildcat Chorus (formerly Men’s Choir) will be performing songs traditional to that genre – Drinking, Sea Shanties, and other traditional songs.
The CWU Treble Chorus (Formerly Women’s Choir) will present Schubert’s Staendchen, Voice Faculty member, Dr. Melissa Schiel – soloist, as well as Sweet honey in the Rock’s “Wade in the Water” and more
The renowned CWU Chamber Choir will present Bach’s masterpiece – the Motet “Singet dem Herrn” as well as featuring Faculty Cellist John Michel in Mirrors of Love by Bern Herbolsheimer and more.
