For the first time on the West Coast, "Strings Without Boundaries" will bring a 21st-century approach to string technique and musicianship to Ellensburg for an exciting workshop experience. Strings Without Boundaries teaches performance, including through American world fiddle styles, creative musicianship, and technology-enhanced approaches to string education and performance. The workshop includes a teacher-training track and optional graduate credit. Strings Without Boundaries welcomes students, teachers, amateurs and professionals of all ages and backgrounds from all over the world. Players will explore Appalacian, Gypsy Jazz, Bluegrass, Jazz, Hip Hop, Funk, Blues, Irish, Texas Swing, Canadian, and many more styles. Violin, viola, cello, and bass players are sure to find something new and exciting to explore.
