About the Music Fundamentals Course
This is a requirement for all incoming Freshman who do Not score 75% or better on the Theory Fundamentals Placement Exam.
- This is an on-line course consisting of multiple lessons that can be taken from home over a period of approximately 6-8 weeks. It must be completed by the Monday of the first week of classes.
- The Music Fundamentals Course cost is $99.95. Since each CWU credit costs more than $99, it is well worth the cost as it is much cheaper than taking a 3-credit course at CWU.
- CWU will have access to the results of your course. If the student scores a "B", or better, in the course, they will be enrolled in their selected MUS 144 section.
- If you do not achieve a passing score, you must register and re-take the Course until you pass.
