Graduate Conducting

Orchestra Home | Dr. Caoile

There are three orchestral conducting masters students seeking their two-year degree. One orchestra teaching assistant position is available, as well as two other students in the studio.

Graduate conductors help Dr. Caoile with activities in the orchestral area, such as symphony and chamber rehearsals, as well as other duties like grading, proctoring aural evaluations, orchestra librarian, etc.

Ample podium time is available to each student. Each conductor is given a piece for the annual Halloween concert, a student concerto each year, and thesis piece on the quarterly orchestra concert in their final year.
