Opera fans can get a sneak preview of Central Washington University’s talented Opera Ensemble at the Opera-Tune-It-Tea, 1-3 p.m., on March 23. Enjoy a sumptuous high tea while listening to opera selections at the First Presbyterian Church Garden Room, 9 S. 8th Ave., Yakima. 98902.

CWU’s award-winning Opera Ensemble and Chamber Orchestra will perform Johann Strauss’s flamboyant masterpiece, Die Fledermaus (in English), at the Capitol Theater in Yakima, on April 6 at 7:00 p.m., and April 7 at 2:00 p.m. The Capitol Theatre is located at 19 S. 3rd Street.
