CWU’s renowned Chamber Choir and Chamber Orchestra combine to present one of the best known works in the history of Music – Handel’s oratorio – Messiah.
First performed in April of 1742 – Messiah was conducted by Handel 15 or more times before he passed away in 1759. The oratorio has since been performed many thousands of times around the world.
The 2 hour 20 minute work will be presented in its entirety with all solos performed by singers who sing in the Chamber Choir.
