Barbara Pickett is a member of the piano faculty at CWU. She is an active performer, teacher and adjudicator. A specialist in collaborative piano, she has performed throughout the country. Recent performances include "Letters from Mary Todd" by Oregon composer Jason Heald with soprano Donna Spicer at the College Music Society's Northwest Regional Composer Recital, Seattle Jewish Chorale Town Hall concert, recital with Cleveland Orchestra's principal trombonist Massimo La Rosa, The Woman's Voice in Music Presidential Series, Festival Accompanist for the Tacoma Youth Symphony's Evergreen Music Festival and numerous recitals with CWU faculty and students. A Masters of Music in Piano Performance degree was earned from Indiana University and B.A./B.M from the University of Washington.
