Certification
The Office of Multimodal Learning offers faculty the opportunity to earn a certification in Online or Distance Education instruction that may be used as evidence of professional development and teaching effectiveness for performance review (subject to Chair and Dean approval).
Faculty who wish to pursue certification will be asked to submit a letter of application outlining their intention to develop or revise an online course, the timeline for development, and a letter of support from their Chair identifying the quarter in which the course will be offered within the next academic year or summer session.
