Recording Studios are availble during regular business hours (M-F 8-6) and are only available for CWU community members.

Small Studios

Small Studios (SAM 127B, C, D, E) are open to students, faculty and staff.

Each are supplied with a computer, studio lighting, microphone and camera. Please keep to one person per room and follow our room policies. Failure to adhere to the room policies and person limits will result in expulsion. To book one of the studios, please follow our guide using Microsoft Outlook, select the room you are interested in, the time you need it and your information. If the room is unavailable for any reason, our Media Technician will get back to you. Otherwise, you will access the room with a current CWU ID.

For orientation on using the studios, please watch this video. If you feel you will need assistance in setting up your first time, make certain to contact Nat Nickel and schedule a time to go over the rooms' use.

Large Studios (SAM 122 and 123)

Large Studios are available to faculty only. 

Each are supplied with a computer, studio lighting, microphone, multiple monitors, backdrop and camera. SAM 122 is larger, flexible lighting, and has a lightboard. Please keep to 1-3 person(s) per room and follow our room policies. Failure to adhere to the room policies and person limits will result in expulsion. To book one of the studios, please follow our guide using Microsoft Outlook, select the room you are interested in, the time you need it and your information. If the room is unavailable for any reason, our Media Technician will get back to you. Otherwise, you will access the room electronically with a current CWU ID.
