CAH Alumni Mentor Program

Mentee Application

The College of Arts and Humanities Alumni Mentoring Program connects students with professionals who are successful in their field and willing to share their expertise. mentors coach their Mentee by guiding career path exploration, encouraging new experiences, providing feedback, and supporting the development of pertinent skills. The goal of the program is to develop the Mentee's professional and personal growth by enhancing networking and decision-making skills, in addition to applied, career-related knowledge.

Program Activities Mentors and Mentees interact at least once a month by phone, vide-chat, social media, or in-person: review resume and other professional documents, job shadow, company tour, interview advice, internship and job opportunities, share industry related articles and links.

Mentee Agreement

[To be signed in person at a later date]

I understand that regular communication and interaction is expected on a monthly basis, at minimum, and the Alumni Relations Coordinator will assist in facilitating appropriate activities and ideas.

I agree to respond promptly to communication from my mentor and the Alumni Relations Coordinator.

I understand that at any time during my participation in the program I can contact the Alumni Relations Coordinator.

I understand that at any time during my participation in the program I can contact the Alumni Relations Coordinator with any concerns, problems or issues.

I agree that CWU Alumni & Constituent Relations can provide the following information about me to other mentoring program participants: name, class level, major and e-mail.

I understand that I am eligible to receive credit hours for participation in this program and that I am responsible for registering for these hours.

I understand that any CAH Alumni Mentoring Program participant - myself and the Mentor included - may terminate the relationship at any time.

I agree, if at any time I need to remove myself from the program, I will inform the Alumni Relations Coordinator immediately, and I can request that the Alumni Relations Coordinator inform my Alumni Mentor.

I understad that the CAH Alumni Mentoring Program may terminate a Mentor-Mentee relationship at any time.
