REACT - This is an excellent resource for learning how to deal with traumatic events.  This is a program from Loyola University and the phone numbers and resources they give are specific to Loyola University NOT CWU.

Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance -DBSA offers information on depression and bipolar disorder as well as listings for patient support groups across the USA. This website also offers depression, mania, and anxiety screening tests:

Psych Central - Dr. John Grohol's home of down-to-earth, reliable and objective mental health symptoms and treatment information. Includes several screening quizzes from anxiety to sleeping problems.

NAMI -the National Alliance on Mental Illness

Ulife Line - Provides students with a link to their respective college's mental health center. Also offers a mental health library, medication database, and self evaluation.

Go Ask Alice - Question and answers on many topics, with a health focus. From Columbia University's Health Education Program, with a searchable database.

National Eating Disorders - National non-profit eating disorders organization. Information, referrals, support, prevention, conferences, and newsletters.

Body Positive - This body image site is for women of all sizes. Monthly articles, forums, body image exercises, fitness ideas for large women, activism ideas, and much more.

A volunteer group of students attending Central Washington University's Film and Video Studies program, as well as the Department of Communication, decided to create a video to communicate to other students their hard won experiences protecting themselves when they go out on the town.
